The Ontario Trillium Foundation receives an annual allocation of $100 million from the Government of Ontario through the province's charity casino initiative. The Foundation distributes its funding to charities and not-for-profits through two granting programs: Community and Province-Wide. Within those programs, funding is allocated in four sectors: Arts and Culture, Environment, Sports and Recreation, and Human and Social Services.

Markham Little Theatre applied for and received two significant grants towards renovating and equipping our home, "Backstage"
